My name is Bob Wilson, and I’ve been repairing and restoring Hi-Fi audio equipment for more than 20 years. Over that time, I’ve worked on everything from relatively straightforward repairs to extremely complex pieces of vintage and high-end audio equipment.

Properly restoring this equipment can require an incredible amount of research, attention to detail, and patience. I take pride in doing the job correctly, regardless of how much time it takes. My goal isn’t simply to get a piece of equipment working again—it’s to understand how it was originally designed and restore it as accurately and thoughtfully as possible.

I have experience working with all of the major audio brands and maintain the equipment necessary to service receivers, amplifiers, preamplifiers, turntables, tape decks, and just about everything else in the Hi-Fi world. I also have a great deal of experience rebuilding classic and interesting loudspeakers.

For me, this work has always been about more than repairing electronics. I genuinely enjoy preserving exceptional audio equipment and giving these pieces the attention and craftsmanship they deserve.

I’ve also documented many of my projects in greater detail on my YouTube channel, BobWilson84 on YouTube, where you can see everything from individual repairs to complete restorations and some of the more unusual projects I’ve taken on.
