Denon PMA-777 Integrated Amplifer and matching DR-M44 Tape Deck

I really love this design era in HiFi.   These Denons have very cool black aluminum faceplates and high quality controls.  Nothing about them feels cheap or flimsy.  They are both in excellent cosmetic condition.  I recapped the amplifier and serviced the tape deck with a new capstan belt.  One great feature is the VU meters on the tape deck.  They are a very cool dark blue/green and the peaks have a delay which looks stellar. The VU meters can monitor the outputs without a tape, so you can enjoy the meters all the time. The capstan flywheels on the deck do have some surface cracks which is pretty common, but it's still worth mentioning.   The RCA jacks during this era are notoriously flimsy, however these are in excellent condition with no problems.  The new caps in the amplifier and freshly cleaned controls makes this pair reliable for many years to come.
