Fisher SA-300 Tube Amplifier. Recent restoration with high-end components.

This is a beautiful Fisher SA-300 amplifier with recent upgrades and a full service.  The couple capacitors were replaced with Auricaps and the troublesome electrolytics were replaced with Panasonic, Nichicon, and similar caps.  Mallory caps were used throughout the signal path and the performance is outstanding.  The original filter caps were left in place to maintain the original look, and new filters are mounted under the chassis.  The chassis is free from rust and scratches, but there is some evidence of it's age.  Please review the photos as a picture is worth 1000 words.  The transformers show no signs of heat, and the bottom of the chassis is free from scorching.   I did not complete the restoration myself, but I can tell the work and attention to detail was very professional.  I have listened to this amplifier for many hours (around 20) and I have to say the performance is really spectacular. I did add taller feet to the bottom of the chassis to provide some additional air flow.  The taller feet are mounted with double-sided tape and the original feet are still installed.  If you have any questions about this Fisher please let me know.  Thanks! -Bob
