Fully Restored Pioneer SX1980.

This is a beautiful Pioneer SX1980 that I restored in May of 2023. It is in excellent cosmetic condition but does have a few imperfections on the top of the faceplate.  I attached a few photos in various lights / settings to provide an accurate description of the cosmetics.  I'd consider this receiver to be a solid 9/10 - if not 9.5/10.

I replaced all the electrolytic capacitors and problematic transistors and installed a new Delta 9 power supply & rectifiers.  I have used this receiver regularly and it performs flawlessly.  The phono section is absolutely quiet and the tuner works well with an antenna.  The Pioneer meets and exceeds all factory ratings.  I am confident that the next owner will love this receiver for many years.  I have sold and restored a few SX-1980s, this one is about as nice as you'll find.  No corrosion, no rust, no smells, nothing to worry about here.  Please review the pictures as they pretty much tell the story.  I'm located in NE Ohio, not open to shipping at this time, but am willing to split the drive.  If shipping is a must, please budget $250 - $300 to anywhere in the US.  Packing materials and insurance are very expensive for such a massive piece of audio equipment.  Feel free to review my feedback and search for my past sales so you can be confident in me as a trusted seller.  Please let me know if you have any questions and have a great day!!  -Bob
