Fully restored Yamaha M-2, C-2, T-2 Integrated Stack!

Accuracy, accuracy, accuracy.  Yamaha HiFi was designed and built around accuracy.  Without a doubt (and you can read any audio review to verify) Yamaha equipment is the most neutral sounding equipment a person can buy.  Notice I said neutral and not natural.  Although Yamaha printed "Natural Sound" on these pieces, compared to todays explanations of "warmth and soundstage" the term "natural" might be misinterpreted.  These are purely accurate above all else with excellent frequency response, incredible slew rates, and class-leading THD. This stack will provide an honest representation of the music as it was recorded. The M2 was a labor of love to restore, and not one I plan to do again!  The amplifier is very complex and its build around a center (copper) chassis is unlike typical layouts.  The hard work was worth it as the amplifier runs perfectly and tests above factory ratings.  The Preamp is much more straight forward although the board is mounted upside-down compared to everything else. It's restoration was much easier by comparison!  The T-2 Tuner is all original and works perfectly.  I did clean the tuner controls and performed basic maintenance, but a full restoration wasn't performed (it works great as-is).  As for cosmetics, the M2 is in good condition but not mint. I would call it a solid 9/10 overall.  The preamp is excellent, the side panels have an interesting artifact from the anodizing process.  I have seen other Yamaha equipment with this as well, it's almost like the fixture that hangs the aluminum causes a light streak down the side.... hard to explain and invisible in most lights.  Finally the T2 is also in excellent shape, another 9/10. I tried to take photos with various lights to highlight the condition of the set. I do have the original box for the tuner and the preamplifier which is nice for shipping.  Speaking of, they will be shipped in 3 individual boxes for safety.  Shipping and packing to the 48 states is included in the price.  Thanks for checking out this Yamaha gear, and please let me know if you have any questions! -Bob
