Krell MD-2 CD player and Matching SBP-32X DAC

This Krell MD-2 CD player and matching SBP-32x is part of a complete Krell system I restored. 

The CD is loaded onto the spindle and a weight is manually installed on top of the CD. It feels more like a turntable than a typical CD transport. 

The matching SBP-32X is a separate DAC that converts the digital output of the MD-2 and converts the signal to analog for the preamp.  Both devices were disassembled and cleaned, and all electrolytic capacitors were replaced as preventative maintenance.  The audio quality is typical of most high-end CD players.  The overall look of the pair is neat eye candy.  The MD-2 remote is included but it does not operate correctly.  The pair is sold together and shipping for 48 states is included.
