Oracle Delphi Series IV Turntable with MVSS and extra Tune-up parts!
This is an Oracle Delphi Mk1 turntable that was factory-upgraded to Mk4 with a new DC motor and controls. Oracle also installed the MVSS system during the upgrade. The MVSS consists of 3 cups with a viscus fluid to dampen vibrations and oscillations that are inherent to sprung platters. Speaking of springs, these turntables require very methodical setup and springs with various strengths. I’m including 2 additional sets of springs so the turntable can be tuned to fit any tonearm. The tonearm board is drilled for a SME 3009 pattern. Additional boards are available through Oracle or other online retailers. The DC power supply is a simple switch-mode variant commonly used with laptops. The original DC supply used a multi-voltage design with unreliable interchangeable prongs and I think this is a better solution. It is set up for 120v operation. The acrylic is in excellent condition with some slight signs of use. The cover is original and is free from cracks but also has a few hair-line scratches that can only been seen under close examination. The rear of the plinth was drilled for the MK1 controls and those mounting holes are still present. The aluminum parts are clean and free from oxidation, but they also have a few small imperfections. The Oracle rubber mat is brand new. Everything was detailed within the last year with new parts from Oracle. I consider the cosmetic condition to be a solid 9/10. It gets a ton of attention from my non-audio-nerd friends and family. This turntable can be shipped safely once dissembled. Assembly will be required but it’s a fun and rewarding table to tinker with. Please review assembly and set-up videos and be aware this will take some time and effort to assemble and set up when it arrives. Shipping is included to the 48 states. The turntable is not packed yet incase it sells with local pickup, I'll need 2 days to get it packed once sold. I will provide additional photos of the assembly process. Please let me know if you have any questions.
