Restored Pioneer SX1010 Receiver. Recapped and Serviced

Pioneer launched the SX1010 with 100watts RMS per channel and the fabled "Receiver wars" began.  

This receiver was fully restored and plays beautifully.  All controls and chassis were throughly cleaned and the receiver underwent a complete restoration.  Some corrosion was present on the chassis so I replaced the small circuit transistors which sometimes cause problems.  All the electrolytic capacitors were replaced along with the 2 main filter caps.  The lamps behind the tuning display and signal strength meters were replaced with LEDs.   The tuner works great and was not serviced aside from cleaning the main capacitor. 

The AM Antenna holder is a reproduction replacement and is much stronger than the factory piece.

The stereo is very nice cosmetically.  The faceplate, knobs, and black face are in great shape with no heavy scratches.  The black plastic buttons have some wear, please review the photos closely.  

The bias current and DC offset were set and verified after 8 hours of use to fully test the restoration.  It plays great and is ready for many years of reliable service.  Price includes shipping to the 48 states via Fedex or UPS ground.
